Project validation of the bridge “Ponte della Scienza” crossing the Tevere river in Rome.
Different materials and construction techniques have been used for the above-ground structures. The left abutment is made in both ordinary reinforced concrete and pre-stressed reinforced concrete; the right abutment is made in boxed steel structure and the central deck in made in external pre-stressed concrete.
