Italian railway network (RFI), in 2018, inserts Frosinone railway station in the requalification and empowerment program of 620 priority stations, in the role of primary access node to the collective mobility system and centrality of urban functions.
INEA s.r.l. has received from the civil engineering firm ETS s.r.l., subcontractor of the project with the civil engineering society Minnucci Associati s.r.l., the commission for the consultancy of the structural project of the final project for the Frosinone station requalification and
re-functionalization.
The RFI intervention has born from the collaboration with Frosinone municipality, and it is part of a joint urban regeneration project, concerning the entire station area.

Frosinone station is a railway yard of the line “Roma – Cassino – Napoli”.
The RFI intervention has born from the collaboration with Frosinone municipality, and it is part of a joint urban regeneration project, concerning the entire station area.
Aim of the project is to integrate the station complex with the urban environment, redeveloping the entire neighbourhood.
The total requalification of the station complex takes place through the redevelopment and the re-functionalization of the traveller’s building, through the pedestrian overpass construction, and through the renovation of the underpass, of the sidewalks, of the canopies, and through the creation of new leisure and aggregation spaces within the station complex, as well as through the enhancement of surrounding areas object of urban requalification by the local municipality.
